Our goal is to make the design and construction process as smooth as possible for you, your family and your neighbours. Here’s an in-depth look at the steps you can expect to go through with our team as we create a landscape that goes beyond your expectations.
Once you reach out to Outdoor Restorations Inc. — whether through our online form, phone, or email — our team will follow up as soon as possible.
This first step helps us understand your goals, your property, and your vision so we can begin the design process on the right track.
Before moving into design, our team will call to walk you through the process, discuss fees, budget, and timelines, and then schedule an on-site meeting at your home.
During your site visit, you can expect:
Shortly after the visit, you’ll receive a design estimate. Once approved and the design deposit is paid, we begin the design phase.
Your first design concept will be reviewed with our design team in Chesapeake, Virginia. You’ll meet with your designer to go over sketches, 2D plans, or 3D renderings that bring your ideas to life.
With your feedback, we refine the design until it’s exactly what you want. At this stage, you can also reserve your construction slot with a small holding deposit to avoid scheduling delays.
Once your construction deposit is paid and a start date is confirmed, our team handles the rest — permits, material orders, and all pre‑construction coordination.
When work begins, our crews set up the site and your project manager will meet with you two to three times per week to provide updates. You can reach out to them anytime by phone or email. Progress invoices are sent every two weeks and are due upon receipt.
